13 of Canada's Leading Business Communicators Appointed to the 2015 CASSIES Awards Jury

Canada's prestigious awards program announces its judging panel & reminds applicants that submissions are due by August 1, 2014
Toronto, ON – July 15, 2014 — After receiving considerable interest from communications professionals from across the country, the CASSIES Awards, Canada's only industry awards recognizing business effectiveness based on rigorous published cases, has announced its panel of judges for the 2015 competition.
"We have an exceptional group of highly committed professionals on our judging panel this year," says Jani Yates, President, Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA). "They are at the top of their game and are eager to recognize Canada's best 'work that worked.'"
Jennifer Davidson, General Manager of Six Pints Specialty Beer Co. (a division of Molson Coors Canada), is serving as this year's Chair of Judging. She is pleased to present the panel of notable judges who represent clients, agencies, media, and digital disciplines from across the communications industry. In addition to Ms Davidson, the 2015 CASSIES judges are:

John Bradley, former Senior Vice-President at Cadbury is rounding out the team, serving as the new convener of the CASSIES.
"The honour of serving as a CASSIES judge comes with great responsibility. The judging panel will be evaluating which business-building case studies have set a standard for Canadian communications and will become part of our celebrated communications history," says Davidson. "These judges were handpicked because throughout their careers each of them has demonstrated a passion for smart ideas that build brands, and powerful stories that deliver sustainable business results."
Last month, the CASSIES announced its 2015 call for submissions – due by Friday August 1, 2014 at 12:00pm EST. Applicants should make note that a number of significant changes were made to its call for entries this year in order to keep pace with Canada's evolving communications landscape. The revised submission guidelines for the newly enhanced competition are available at www.cassies.ca.
The competition's winners will be announced at the 22nd annual CASSIES awards show on February 19, 2015 at the Hilton Toronto hotel.
